Anon.: 'Dû bist mîn, ich bin dîn'

Dû bist mîn, ich bin dîn:

des solt dû gewis sîn.

dû bist beslozzen

in mînem herzen:

verlorn ist daz slüzzelîn:

dû muost immer drinne sîn.

Thou art mine, I am thine:

of this thou hast sure sign:

locked thou art

within my heart:

lost is the key that confined:

thou art for ever consigned.

(Middle High German, c. 1180. The added accents are typical of MHG texts. The circumflex accent indicates a long vowel,  and the î > ei diphthongisation has not yet taken place.)
