Poem by the Dutch poet Wiel Kusters
The book that may be read when it is night
now gleams, on past and future lives sheds light.
In all it comprehends, from spark to sun:
each word came via another into sight.
(This poem adorns a wall in Maastricht - see here. Standing beside it is another Dutch poet, Albert Hagenaars. Click to enlarge.)
