AUTUMN
The city above the water
distant behind its clouds
blue fish make their way
over an ultra-thin skyline
thickets of seaweed rock
on steel-grey squares
the city hall tower
zigzags over line 9
A bird dives
seizes with its claw
the morning’s
far too late
half-moon
An insect walks on the water
moving
with giant strides
across the park tree-tops
leaf-fall into water –
it’s disappearing –
now it has begun
