Werner Aspenström: 'Efter att ha spelat Mozart hela dagen'

AFTER HAVING PLAYED MOZART
ALL DAY

The deciduous trees get undressed, get dressed,
regularly,
as in a marriage.
The wild geese steer southwards, steer northwards.
You know nature, you know all the tricks.
What help does Mozart provide?
The flocks of grey schoolchildren walked off
under the lime trees
and the flocks of grey schoolchildren returned.
Music is processed time.
Time does not heal time’s wounds.
