Wees niet bevreesd wanneer de vlagen gaan
rondom uw huis – het is uw aards verblijf.
Wees niet bevreesd als ziekte u komt slaan –
uw lichaam was altijd een aards verblijf.
Zonder bekommernis laat u ontgaan
roem, eer en staat; zij zijn een aards bedrijf.
Maar wees bevreesd wanneer de tranen gaan,
de bevende, om wat is aangedaan
door u.
De liefde is uw eeuwige verblijf.
